Open Mic Night
We're back!!! Teen Open Mic Night is back and ready for you to share your talents. Do you sing, dance, rap? Come out and show us what you can do!!
Teen Open Mic Nights are held every third Friday from 7:00-9:00 pm in the Veterans Room. Food and drinks will be provided. No registration is required. Sponsored by the Friends of the Oak Park Public Library.

Sure, come on out and join us! Just want to let you know that the typical age of the crowd can range from 12-18.

We tried to come but couldn't get into the library. How do we get in after 6?

Hi,
It all depends on how many people sign up to perform. For example if only three people want to perform and you have six songs you want to perform you may get a chance to perform them all. However, if 20 people sign up to perform you may only get to perform once.
We provide microphones and a stage. We look forward to seeing you!!!
Singing a cover of a song is totally fine! We have a sound system so we can play music through that. Hope to see you on Friday!
Would singing a cover of a song, with background music from an ipod or something be okay? Or do I have to play an instrument as well? Just wondering =)
